Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRC) Oshada Senanayake has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA).
This comes following the resignation of Lalith Gamage, the President and CEO of SLIIT.
Lalith Gamage resigned due to personal reasons, sources told The Morning.
Following Senanayake's appointment, the DG TRC position has fallen vacant.
