The first consignment of Diesel has arrived into the Island today and the quality sample checking is underway, announced Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijeserekera today (16) on a twitter post.
He further stated that another diesel consignment is due to arrive later in the day today and another petrol consignment will be arriving on the 18th or 19th of July.
The Minister noted that payments have been completed for all 3 consignments.
