Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Kurunegala, Kithsiri Jayalath who was involved in breaking the highly controversial Dr. Shafi’s sterilization story to the media, has been transferred to Trincomalee Police Division.
The National Police Commission (NPC) has approved the transfer of Kurunegala DIG Jayalath with immediate effect.
