The National Police Commission has interdicted former chief of the Terrorism Investigations Division (TID), DIG Nalaka de Silva.
Earlier, the Law and Order Ministry had recommended to the National Police Commission to interdict\ DIG Nalaka de Silva.
De Silva has been accused of being involved in an alleged plot to assassinate President Maithripala Sirisena and several opposition VIPs.
