After final practice session on Wednesday (13), Sri Lanka Captain Dimuth Karunaratne has reportedly been ruled out from the first Test against England starting today (14) in Galle.
He has allegedly aggravated his thumb injury which he’d got inflicted with, in South Africa in the previous series.
In his absence, Dinesh Chandimal may stand in as Sri Lanka Captain.
