The Minister of Education Prof. GL Peiris says that a decision will be taken after discussions regarding the postponement or holding of the GCE Advanced Level Examination which is scheduled to be held in October.
The Minister was responding to a question raised by Samagi Jana Balawega MP Buddhika Pathirana in Parliament.
Meanwhile, the practical examinations of the students who sat for the GCE Ordinary Level examination this time will be conducted soon, the Minister said.
MP Buddhika Pathirana said, "The results of the students who wrote the 2020 GCE Ordinary Level examination could not be given because the practical tests on subjects such as Eastern and Western music as well as drama and performing arts have not been conducted yet."
Minister GL Peiris responded with, "We will try to conduct practical tests as soon as possible."
