The Sapugaskanda oil refinery will be closed from 03 January due to US dollar shortage for crude oil purchases, the Ministry of Energy stated today (30).
However, the Ministry added that the plant is expected to resume operations on 30 January.
Reassurance has been made to the public that during the period of closure, there will be no fuel shortage in the country.
