RB Leipzig, Dortmund, and Wolfsburg secure top four with champions Bayern Munich in Bundesliga

Dortmund completed five wins in a row as they beat Mainz 3-1 on Sunday (16). Goals from Raphael Guerreiro, Marco Reus, and Julian Brandt earned them the win. With this win they went up to 61 points and consequently cemented their place in the top four.

Wolfsburg also sealed their top-four spot after their 2-2 draw against Wolfsburg, also on Sunday.

Maxmilian Philip’s double strike in the first half put them in the lead, but two late goals from Justin Kluivert and Marcel Sabitzer made it a thrilling draw. Wolfsburg confirmed their top-four finish when, fifth place Eintracht Frankfurt lost their game against Schalke by four goals to three.

Premier League: Four teams fight for one remaining spot among top four

Liverpool’s sudden resurgence has kept them in the fight for a top-four finish this season.

Last year’s champions were hampered with injuries which affected their results in the early half of the season. On Sunday, they managed to find an unlikely winner in injury time when their gloveman Allison headed a cross against West Bromwich Albion to secure a 2-1 win.

Tottenham Hotspur managed to keep top-four hopes alive after their 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday. Goals from Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg sealed the win for Spurs.

West Ham had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Brighton. Danny Welback scored for Brighton in the 84th minute and the Hammers replied three minutes later with Said Benrahma finding the target.

The top three spots are set with Manchester City on top, Manchester United in second, and Leicester City in third.

Those three teams have secured Champions League football next season. Chelsea are at fourth with 64 points, Liverpool at fifth with 63 points, Tottenham and West Ham are level on 59, with Tottenham having a better goal difference.

The last two weeks will decide which team will make it to Champions League.
