Sri Lanka police will utilise drones to monitor and apprehend violators of quarantine regulations.
According to Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana, the monitoring process will be carried out around the housing complexes in Colombo and the suburbs.
This comes after the arrest of a total of 369 persons for ignoring the quarantine regulations set in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
