The Government is to look at strong fiscal management and out-of-the-box thinking for the country's economic revival in the face of external and internal challenges posed by the global Covid-19 pandemic.
Addressing the Cabinet meeting yesterday (26), State Minister Ajith Nivard Cabraal has explained the present economic situation in the country and proposed several areas to be addressed to revive the economy.
Cabinet Spokesperson, Minister Keheliya Rambukwella told The Morning that Cabraal emphasised the need for strong fiscal policies and management.
Rambukwella also said that the Minister noted the importance of implementing new income generation methods through out of the box thinking.
