Eiffel Tower goes dark for Sri Lanka

In remembrance of the victims in the Easter Sunday bombings, the French Government has decided to switch off the illuminations of the Eiffel Tower as a sign of respect to the Sri Lankan people.

The lights will be switched off from midnight today (21) as stated in an official tweet published on the verified account of the Eiffel Tower.

In addition, several International football clubs and teams have expressed their condolences to the Sri Lankan public through social media platforms.
