Out of the 11 inmates killed at the Mahara Prison clash, eight have tested positive for COVID-19 in the postmortem PCR test, stated Director of the Ragama hospital Dr Shelton Perera today.
The Director of the Ragama Hospital stated that this was confirmed by the PCR tests conducted yesterday (01).
On the 29th, a group of inmates at the Mahara Prison were involved in a clash and 11 inmates were killed.
