The Election Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya held a press conference today to communicate the latest updates regarding the presidential election.
According to Deshapriya an 85% voter turnout is expected on the day of the elections.
Meanwhile, the polls Chief warned state media over biased reporting. He said all presidential candidates needed to be granted equal airtime.
He said strict action will be taken against State media institutions that violated regulations.
The Presidential election is scheduled to be held on November 16.
