The England Test cricket team landed at the Mattala International Airport in Hambantota Sunday (3) morning to take part in a two-match series against Sri Lanka, which will also be part of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Test Championship.
The two Tests are scheduled to be held in Galle from 14 January after two weeks of quarantine for the touring party in a bio-secure bubble, set up initially in Hambantota.
