The Medical Officer of Health (MOH) in the Katunayake Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in collaboration with Sri Lanka Navy carried out another inoculation drive to administer the Sinopharm vaccination to employees of the EPZ yesterday (15).
Accordingly, a team of naval medical personnel administered 500 COVID-19 jabs to officials of the Board of Investment (BOI) as well as employees of five factories in the Katunayake EPZ.
Despite the pandemic, the Katunayake EPZ continues to sustain the country's export economy.
These collaborative inoculation drives will continue during the coming week, covering about 48 factories in the Katunayake EPZ.
