Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Eran Wickramaratne has filed a petition before the Supreme Court, challenging the Finance Bill.
Accordingly, the MP has raised concerns with regard to the constitutionality of the same, which seeks to authorise tax amnesties and write-offs of tax in default.
