Former Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), Dilrukshi Dias Wickremasinghe said the leaked tele conversation between her and Avant-Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi was doctored and taken out of context.
Wickremasinghe who took to her defense on facebook said, as a public officer, she was not permitted to make public or press statements and therefore requested Senadhipathi to respond to the following questions.
"Please publish the entire telephone conversation without editing, doctoring and distorting the contents."
"Please disclose to the public the name of the minister to whose telephone you called and the reasons why the said minister passed the telephone to me." Wickremasinghe further requested.
Yesterday a leaked tele conversation was published by Avant-Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi. Senadhipathi claims the conversation took place with Wickremasinghe three months ago. He said the latter made the call “out of guilty conscience.”
