The Expenditure Heads of two Ministries were called up for a vote this evening (28) by the Opposition and after a vote, the proposed accounts presented by two Ministries were defeated.
The Ministries called up for the vote were Minister Patali Champika's Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development as well as Minister Vajira Abeywrdena's Ministry of Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government.
The Opposition had the majority vote with a margin of 14 votes.
