Face masks have been made compulsory for those who are travelling on the road with curfew passes.
According to Police Spokesperson SP Jaliya Senaratne , those who do not adhere to the new regulation will be turned back.
All police stations have been instructed to ensure this order is followed properly.
The measure will come into effect from today.
