Wearing face masks will no longer be mandatory in Sri Lanka effective from the 10th of June, 2022.
This was announced by the Ministry of Health today (09).
However, the Ministry of Health says that it is recommended that those with respiratory symptoms and diseases to continue wearing face masks.
People who wish to wear face masks can continue to do so.
