A flight carrying 185 tourists from Ukraine landed at Mattala International Airport a short while ago, making it the first flight carrying tourists since March 2020 to the island, Airport and Aviation Services Ltd. Deputy Chairman Rajiv Sooriyaarachchi said.
The tourists will stay in the country for 10 to 14 days, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
The process of bringing tourists to Sri Lanka, which was suspended due to the Covid-19 epidemic, resumed from today (28).
