First Sri Lankan COVID-19 patient discharged

The first Sri Lankan COVID-19 patient, a tour guide, was  discharged from the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Angoda today. The 52 year-old-man had contracted the virus, when he came into contact with a group of Italian tourists. The first case recorded in Sri Lanka was a Chinese tourist from Hubei province, who had fully recovered and had been discharged. Sri Lanka currently has 91 active COVID-19 patients.
