State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana today stated that five million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine will be imported to Sri Lanka in 2021.
He said that 300,000 doses are scheduled to arrive in the country next month as part of the first batch.
