Five more COVID-19 deaths have been reported today, increasing the total of COVID deaths to 29, confirmed the Department of Government Information.
Among them were a male of Colombo 2, aged 46, who had passed away yesterday (04). He was also a long term kidney patient.
A female of 68 years from Wellampitiya had also passed away today at the Colombo National Hospital.
Another female of 58 years had passed away at home from heart issues exacerbated by COVID-19.
A female aged 73 of Colombo 14 had also passed away at home from respiratory issues exacerbated by COVID-19.
Lastly a male of 74 years had passed away at home in Colombo 15 from heart issues exacerbated by COVID-19.
