Five more Covid-19 infected people have been reported from the Balapitiya Medical Officer of Health Division, according to the Health Department.
Among the PCR test reports received last night (01) were four residents of the Balapitiya area who were infected with COVID-19. One other person was confirmed to be infected this morning (02), the Medical Officer of Health said.
The patients are all fishmongers and their contacts. Measures have been taken to find the relatives of the infected and direct them to self-quarantine at home.
