An Indian national, affiliated to a foreign newswire, was taken into custody by police in the Katana in Negombo today when trying to enter a school in the area.
According to sources, journalist Sibdiqui Ahmad Danish had tried to enter the school to speak to the kids and was arrested by the police 119 unit.
He was arrested since he did not possess any media accreditation issued by the Sri Lankan Government.
