An earth slip in the Devanagala area in Mawanella has buried a home of four persons today (05).
The four persons, who have been reported as missing, are currently being searched for by Army troops deployed in the area.
Meanwhile, another earth slip which occurred in the Algama area in Warakapola this morning, took the life of one individual.
The man concerned was warned of possible landslides and was instructed to evacuate his house yesterday, Kegalle District Secretary Mahinda S. Weerasooriya stated.
