The Health Services Director General today confirmed another four COVID-19 deaths, the Government Information Department said.
Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country increased to 208 today.
A 67-year-old male from Alayadiwembu and a 91-year-old female from Colombo 14 passed away from COVID pneumonia today.
Meanwhile, a 65-year-old male from Agalawatta died from COVID pneumonia while being treated at the Homagama Base Hospital yesterday.
A 63-year-old male from Dharga town also passed away from COVID-19 on admission to the Kalutara Base Hospital on December 29.
