A Fundamental Rights petition was filed in the Supreme Court yesterday (30) by Secretary of the Professional’s National Front Sri Lanka (PNF) Kapila Renuka Perera seeking an order to prevent the sale, lease or alienation of state properties, vested with Selendiva Investments Limited Company or any subsidiary of this company.
The petitioner has filed this petition through Attorney-at-Law Dharshana Weraduwage and has named Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Treasury Secretary S.R. Attygalle, Auditor General W.P.C. Wickremaratne, Director General of Department of Public Enterprises P.A.S. Athula Kumara, Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka, Colombo Stock Exchange, the Registrar General of Companies, Urban Development Authority, Attorney General, Selendiva Investments Limited and others as respondents.
