BY Dinitha Rathnayake    The two deceased men whose bodies were found washed ashore at the Galle Face beach, were apparently mentally unstable, with the deaths being due to accidental causes by drowning, according to Police Media Spokesman, Senior Superintendent of Police and Attorney-at-Law Nihal Thalduwa. Speaking to The Morning yesterday, he said that the investigations to identify the bodies and the causes of the deaths are concluded now, and that it was revealed that the manner of death in both the cases was accidental, due to drowning at sea. The deceased males were reportedly aged around 19 years and 40 years. The bodies had been sent to the National Hospital in Colombo. Meanwhile, a body of an unidentified male was discovered on the beach towards the northern end of the Dikkowita Fisheries Harbour in Wattala on 5 August. Detectives said that the body was found inside two fertiliser bags, one covering the torso, and the other covering the lower part of the body. In addition, both the hands and legs were bound, said the Police. The deceased is believed to be between 35 and 40 years of age, and was wearing a blue t-shirt, and a black short, with a silver ring on one of the fingers.
