The highest number of Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours were reported from the Gampaha district, standing at 35.
Of these 35 cases, the majority of patients were identified from Biyagama and Dompe areas at seven and five respectively.
Meanwhile, Colombo saw a total caseload of 32 with Piliyandala and Borelesgamuwa having the most cases at seven and five respectively
The island wide total of Covid cases was 211. The number of imported local Covid cases was 28.
