Intra-fights in intra-squad games
They just finished six games in the cool country yet didn’t win even one. Before those matches, the phony-lions played intra-squad games. Ekekuta ekek ne. When fast bowler ‘B’ bowled one over, fast bowler ‘A’ missed all the catches he got, deliberately. ‘A’ doesn’t want ‘B’ to enter the team. Alas! Have we ever heard of such a greedy, selfish side like this? Antho jata, bahi jata (problems within, problems outside).
Who is gonna be the next boss?
He suspects the other, and the other suspects him. The heroes’ (zeroes’) game of paradise island is in total chaos. Yet a question remains. Who’s gonna be its next boss? One, who is known to leave as soon as things do not go his way, is amply supported by ‘dynamic duo’, Gal-ama and Wibley, though his rival to-be, the Panadura Express, has the edge. The latter has, of all things, the blessings of the game’s current boss anyway.
“Big talks” yet no work
Our team of funny boys is not short of ones with “lorry talks”. One such is the hair-coloured “Pollard feeder” -- remember that sixers rain in the Caribbean? In England this time, the “lorry talker” gets out Bairstow, Morgan, Root and everybody, yet only by his mouth, not by his spinners!
He is ‘born again’!
He is “Battalion-leader” who discovered how the funny game in the paradise island was destroyed by… born again. Then he resigned and we all thought ‘born again’ was the problem. Alas, the “Battalion-leader” is back again at Maitland Place. Now he is a funny game’s local league advisor. “We pinned him against a Maitland Place wall for 3000 dollars,” one was heard saying at the funny game HQ. So he is born again!
