Enter a gala party in a Colombo star-grade hotel recently. It was a rousing birthday party of the popular ‘Golden Dotty’ and his invitees include two former world-cup winning legends of the super sport of the paradise island.
Shortly before midnight, pandemonium strikes the party. Now who’s fighting? The two super-sport legends!
One, who was renowned for his rock-solid mid-innings defence in his heydays, shouts at the other, the greatest of the greats, as the party attendants looked on in aghast.
Interestingly both are now active players in super-sport admin too. Amidst music and sing-songs, how did this ‘defender’ shout at ‘the greatest’?
