Former Defence Secretary and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa returned to the island yesterday (12) from Singapore.
He flew to Singapore last week to seek urgent medical attention after receiving clearance from the court.
A travel ban had been imposed on Rajapaksa over an ongoing case.
However, the ban was temporarily lifted to allow him to travel to Singapore to obtain medical attention.
