The Government today assured a solution to the estate pay issue. During the budget 2019 reading today, Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera said that a solution will be reached after talks with the Sri Lanka Tea Board. He said that Ministers representing the estate community have been having talks with him on the issue. Estate workers have been calling for a Rs. 1000 daily wage.
