The Government today said that there was no truth to rumours of a fuel shortage in the country.
The Government Information Department said the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) had sufficient stocks of fuel to meet the country's demand.
The announcement comes after panic buying was reported at fuel stations this morning.
