The current Government is guilty of murder as over 5000 patients die on a daily basis in hospitals due to the lack of medicines due to the shortage of funds, says Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Nalin Bandara.
He made this statement while speaking in Parliament today (19).
"This Government is guilty of murder. They are murderers. They are clinging to power and they don't care about the citizens of this country. Over 5000 people die in government hospitals due to the lack of medicines. The medicines cannot be brought down due to the lack of funds. The government does not care about this, all they care about is their greed for power. This government is killing our families because of their greed," said Bandara.
He further added that when the Yahapalanaya was in power, the opposition at that rode bicycles to Parliament when the fuel prices were increased by Rs 2, whereas is now in an even worse situation yet makes excuses.
