Govt decides to stop all passenger flight arrivals
The government has decided to stop all passenger flight arrivals to the country, sources told the The Sunday Morning.
Accordingly, all arrivals to Sri Lanka will be suspended from 18th March midnight until 31st March as a preventive measure.
However, cargo, departures and transit will continue.
Sources also said that SriLankan Airlines would only operate flights to destinations where flights are still operational and if there are adequate passengers for the respective flight.
