Government Nurses have launched a two-day island-wide strike from 7:00 a.m today (26).
The Public Services United Nurses Union have launched this strike as a result of the Government not having acted upon several demands made by the union.
The strike will however not be carried out at certain State Hospitals including the Apeksha Cancer Hospital, Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital, De Soysa Hospital for Women and other special units.
