The Government is to monitor tourists through a new software according to Director General of Health Services. Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
Jasinghe made these comments during a special meeting convened by the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Health, Human Welfare and Social Empowerment yesterday (30).
Chinese tourists will be closely monitored through this software as a measure to to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
The software collects details of the passengers including their travel itineraries in order to monitor their whereabouts.
