The Government of Sri Lanka has decided to pay USD 6.7Mn, which includes the USD 5Mn cash deposit, to the Chinese fertiliser company with the advice of the Attorney General's department.
Minister of Agriculture Mahindanada Aluthgamage confirmed this today (14).
Additionally, the Chinese fertiliser company has been requested, moving forward, to manufacture the fertiliser to comply with the required standards.
