The government today (13) said that it will not interfere in the fued between the Attorney General (AG) Dappula de Livera and the Act. IGP. Senior DIG C.D. Wickramaratne. Speaking at the cabinet press briefing today Co-cabinet Spokesperson Bandula Gunawardana said that the government has left the issue between the AG and the Act. IGP to be solved by the judiciary. IGP that he may have violated Articles 12 (1) and 12 (2) of the Constitution by failing to adhere to the instructions and demanded an explanation over the response.
