Party leaders have decided to remove harmful content from the telephone recordings recently tabled by Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake.
The decision was taken at the Party leaders' meeting held today.
Accordingly, content harmful to national security and false claims will be removed from the recordings.
Once recordings are edited the copies will be made available for parliamentarians.
MP Ranjan Ramanayake who is currently in remand custody had submitted a CD containing telephone recordings to Parliament’s Hansard Department last month.
