Health Ministry issues quarantine guidelines for overseas travellers

The Health Ministry has issued quarantine measures for travellers arriving from overseas during COVID-19 pandemic. It stated that those who have completed COVID vaccination overseas and arrived after two weeks of vaccination should present their certificate to the airport health officer following which a PCR test would be done within 24 hours. They would be released from the quarantine hotel/center after the result of the PCR test if it is negative. Those who have not received COVID vaccination and are undergoing hotel quarantine would be referred for a PCR test on day one and day seven of their stay. Those who are undergoing centre based quarantine would be referred for a PCR test on day one and day ten.
