Former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at the Colombo National Hospital. Fernando was admitted to the Intensive-Care Unit (ICU) of the Cardiology Unit at the Colombo National Hospital earlier today.
