Hotels and restaurants registered under the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Board (SLTDA) have been given the green light by the government to commence operations from tomorrow, The Morning learnt.
The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) President Sanath Ukwatte said the industry will follow the necessary guidelines stipulated by the Health Ministry when commencing operations.
An official from SLTDA said the measure applies to all hotels and restaurants registered under the THASL island-wide.
