HSDG revises COVID-19 death toll; four more deaths reported today

The Health Services Director General (HSDG) has revised the COVID-19 death toll in the country as two deaths have been repeatedly counted when releasing the final death toll at the end of the day yesterday. The Government Information Department said two deaths that were counted on Monday have been counted again on Tuesday. Accordingly, the toll which was reported as 330 has been revised to 328. However, the toll has increased to 332 today as four more deaths have been reported. The four victims are an 89-year-old female from Walgammulla, a 67-year-old female from Dewalapola, a 66-year-old male from Negombo and a 70-year-old female from Yatiyanthota.
