ICC to establish permanent office in Sri Lanka

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is to establish a permanent office in Sri Lanka to probe corruption allegations. Sports Minister Harin Fernando said he had met the ICC Anti Corruption Unit in Dubai last week to discuss allegations of corruption involving cricket in Sri Lanka. The ICC Anti Corruption Unit had handed over a report to him and it was also decided that a senior ICC Anti Corruption officer will be posted to Sri Lanka to investigate allegations of corruption.
