Former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara who were taken into custody by the CID have been granted bail today (09).
Fernando and Jaysundara were ordered to be placed under arrest after the two officials did not appear before the CID for questioning with regards to the Easter Sunday attacks.
The bail order was issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate.
