Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara has been arrested. He was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for threatening a lift operator at the Police Headquarters in 2017. Pujith Jayasundara is currently on compulsory leave over the Easter Sunday attacks.
